The verse for our younger friends is "A Gentle answer turns away wrath." Proverbs 15:1.  We are also continuing to learn Psalm 100 on Wednesday's with all the kids.  We will be asking each student to recite it on November 14, if they can recite it they will recieve a small prize.  If you are available to help out and listen to the students that morning from 8:30-9:00 your help would be greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions please contact Katie Meeuwsen or Erika Gomez.

Oct 15-26

The verse for our friends this week is "Let Everything that has breath praise the Lord."  Psalm 150:6.  The verse for next week is "A Friend loves at all times."  Proverbs 17:17. 

We had started something new this week with invite a friend to devos week.  If someone new came to devo's they got a pin and so did the friend that invited them.  It was very nice to see some new faces!

On Worship Wednesdays we started something else new, we are trying to memorize Psalm 100 by Thanksgiving.  The kids have a good start but any help you could give them at home would be great!

Again thanks for your support and sharing your kids with us, it is a great way to start the day!

October 8-12

This week the letter is "D" and the verse is "My Mouth Will Declare your praise."  Psalm 51:15.  We talked a little about using our mouths and the kind things we can say to help others.  Tuesday we will continue with remembering letters A-D and talk about wise words of Solomon.

October 1-5

It was a great break and a little slow start to devo's on Monday morning, but it was good to see all the kids again.  They are doing a great job remembering the verses from the previous weeks!  The verse for this week comes from Genesis 1:1 God Created the heavens and the earth.
